1 to 8 day programs for children aged 3 to 14 years.

Skills that last a lifetime in a fun and safe environment. Our local programs are a great way for your child to make new friends while improving their skiing and riding, and a great way for them to stay active. Complimentary early drop offs and late pick-ups are available.

Spring Break Camps

For young skiers and snowboarders of all levels.

Silver Star is happy to offer another year of our Spring Break Camps.  Aimed at skiers and boarders alike, the camps offer 3 or 5 day options, return bus trips from Vernon, and full days of lessons with a nutritious lunch.  There is the option to add rentals and lift passes if needed.

Dates:     March 19- 23 and March 26-30

  • 3 day camps run from either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday
  • 5 day camps run Monday to Friday.

Ages: 6 to 14 years old

Pricing:    

  • 3 day camp - $209
  • 3 day camp with rentals and lift tickets - $310
  • 5 day camp - $345
  • 5 day camp with rentals and lift tickets - $475

Time: Bus leaves Vernon at 8:30am and returns at 4:30pm. Please note that instructors fully supervise all bus trips.

Spring Break Freestyle Throwdown Sessions

This program is aimed at aspiring action sports movie stars.

Here is a chance to learn the safe techniques and skills to float airs, throw grabs, spin three's and rip tight lines in the steep and deep.

Dates:

  • March 19-21
  • March 26-28

Ages: 12 to 18 years old

Pricing:

  • 3 full days of ski/snowboard instruction plus lunch - $209
  • 3 full days of ski/snowboard instruction plus lunch and transportation to and from Silver Star - $269

Time:

  • 9:30am and 3:30pm, or
  • 8:30am and 4:30pm with return bus trip from Vernon

Mountain Rippers

For confident young skiers and snowboarders who can ski and ride down blue runs by themselves. Includes 5 ½ hours of coaching each week with specialized park sessions. Runs consecutive Saturdays for 4 to 12 weeks.

Grade 5 SnowPass Program

The SnowPass Program gives children in Grade 5 the opportunity to try skiing and snowboarding and, encourages families to spend quality time together visiting their local ski resort.

Booking Policy:

  • All lessons/daycare sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • All amendments and cancellations with more than 24 hours notice of your reserved lesson/daycare session are subject to a $15 Administration Fee.
  • All amendments within 24 hours of your reserved lesson/daycare session will incur a $30 Administration Fee per lesson.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours of your reserved lesson/daycare session.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed lessons/daycare sessions due to weather conditions.
  • Lessons are subject to a 12% HST, Daycare sessions are HST exempt.
  • Prices and programs are subject to change without notice.
