Following another most enjoyable and highly successful program in 2011, the Interschools Canada program will return to Silver Star Resort, Canada, in January 2012.

Catering for both children holidaying with their families, and school groups accompanied by their own staff, the Interschools Canada program is designed specifically to meet the needs of Australian children who participate in Interschools competitions and are looking to improve their skills and performance while experiencing a unique and fun Canadian snow holiday.

I invite you to join us next January at Silver Star and give your child or school snow sports team the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic overseas snow holiday and the added advantage an overseas Interschools specific training program can bring, leading into the 2012 Australian Interschool’s season.

Interschools Canada staff are available at all times during your stay at Silver Star to assist you with a range of services including organizing lessons, rentals, rental cars and mountain transfers. Interschools Canada staff are there to make your holiday hassle free.

Each program offers coaching in technique improvement as well as specialized race training in alpine, skier-cross, moguls, snowboard and snowboard-cross. Participants also have the opportunity to develop their freeride skills in TELUS park.

Each program runs for 5 days, choose as many weeks of the program as you wish. Ski Improvement Programs are also offered to parents of children involved with Interschools Canada and are extremely popular with both Mums and Dads. Each of the fun filled and exciting programs ends with races for both participants and parents.

Welcome Reception A great opportunity to meet other families, staff and the coaches. Learn more about what Silver Star has to offer while enjoying complimentary après drinks and appetizers.

Days: Sunday evenings Parents Get Together Join other parents for complimentary après drinks and appetizers while the children are accompanied by our staff to Brewer’s Pond for ice skating.

Days: Wednesday evenings Kids Skating and Tubing Children enjoy supervised tubing and skating at Adventure Park. The group is escorted from the village and returned back to their parents at the Snowbird Function Room. Days: Thursday

Time: 5 pm to 7:30 pm Parent Resort Tours Hosted By Interschools Canada Resort Hosts, these tours provide the opportunity for you to gain knowledge of Silver Star Mountain Resort, find out everything from great places to ski to great places to shop. Contact your Resort Host for more information.
