Snowshoeing at Silver Star

Snowshoeing has become a favorite pastime for winter enthusiasts because you can get out and enjoy the outdoors completely at your own pace. Its low risk and the health benefits are great!

We offer 16 kilometers of single track trails weaving in and around the forested area in lower cross country trails. The trails are of varying difficulty and are clearly marked with hand carved wooden signs and reflective markers so they may be used at night.

Trail Passes are available at the Village Ticket Office. Rentals are available at Ski Dazzle Rentals and at the "Village Ski Shop" located on the Vance Creek Boardwalk.

There are two trail heads providing access from the Village and Adventure Park areas.

Dates:

The snowshoe season is scheduled to start on November 29th and runs until April 7th mirroring the alpine ski season.

2012/13 Pricing

Trail passes are $7 for adults & youth and $5 for seniors & children. If you need rentals, a package is available at Ski Dazzle Rentals...$20 for adults & youth and $17 for seniors & children.
