1 to 8 day programs for children aged 3 to 12 years.

Skills that last a lifetime in a fun and safe environment. Our local programs are a great way for your child to make new friends while improving their skiing and riding, and a great way for them to stay active. Complimentary early drop offs and late pick-ups are available along with hot chocolate for the children during lesson breaks.

Little Rippers: Age 3

Little Rippers Program

Children get the skiing skills to last a lifetime, all while having more fun than you can imagine! 

The Little Rippers program is specially tailored for three year olds, and is a fantastic way to introduce your 3 year old to learning in a Group environment.   

Imagine four consecutive Saturdays or Sundays filled with skiing and activities with friends in a safe and fun learning environment.  Each session includes 2 hours of instruction that go out at 10:00am.

Sign-up for one session or do all four and enjoy lessons every Saturday or Sunday morning for most of the season. 

SPECIAL BONUS

If you sign up for 8 or more weeks, we will give you a special bonus and turn one of the weekend sessions into a FULL DAY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE.

Ages: 3 year olds

Dates: This 2 hour Little Rippers program will run over a consecutive 4 week session.

  • Dec 8, 15, 22 (Saturdays)

We also have a Punch Card option which offers maximum flexibility and is only $240 for 6 weeks that you get to choose!

This season you can also sign up for 5 weeks, 6 weeks etc, so please ask us for further details.

Mountain Rippers XL: Ages 7-12

Mountain Rippers XL Program

Mountain Rippers XL is a Full Day program especially for our 7 to 12 year old skiers and snowboarders.  Our coaches will work with the same group each week to create a fun, fast paced program to develop your kid’s passion and skills for skiing and riding more of the mountain.  This program will encourage the kids to get better, faster and gain more confidence.  We will focus on “All Mountain” skills, from Bumps and Trees to steep and deep, to hitting the Terrain Park. 

Each session will run for 5 ½ hours and will be in small groups, working with dedicated coaches.

Ages: 7 to 12 years old

Dates: This full-day (5.5 hour) Mountain Rippers XL program will run over consecutive Saturday sessions.

Christmas Break Camps

Camps for young skiers and boarders of all levels.

FOR OKANAGAN RESIDENTS ONLY

We will take the hassle out of Christmas and give your Kids the ultimate Christmas present!! We look after your kids from the moment you drop them off with us to the moment you pick them up.  We take them up to Silver Star to enjoy all the fun the resort has to offer at this special time.

Silver Star is happy to offer another year of our Christmas Camps.  Aimed at skiers and boarders alike, the camps offer 3 or 5 day options, return bus trips from Vernon, and full days of lessons with a nutritious lunch.  There is the option to add rentals and lift passes if needed.

We offer a number of packaged bus trips for 3 to 5 days starting at $199

Dates:

  • 3 day camps run from either Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday
  • Dec 26 - 28, Dec 31 - Jan 2, and Jan 2 - 4
  • 5 day camps run Monday to Friday.
  • Dec 31 - Jan 4

Ages: 4 to 12 years old

Pricing:

  • 3 day camp - $199
  • 3 day camp with rentals and lift tickets - $299
  • 5 day camp - $329
  • 5 day camp with rentals and lift tickets - $449

Time: Bus leaves Vernon at 8:30am and returns at 4:30pm. Please note that instructors fully supervise all bus trips.

Spring Break Camps

Grade 5 SnowPass Program

The SnowPass Program gives children in Grade 5 the opportunity to try skiing and snowboarding and, encourages families to spend quality time together visiting their local ski resort.

Booking Policy:

  • All lessons/daycare sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • All amendments and cancellations with more than 24 hours notice of your reserved lesson/daycare session are subject to a $15 Administration Fee.
  • All amendments within 24 hours of your reserved lesson/daycare session will incur a $30 Administration Fee per lesson.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours of your reserved lesson/daycare session.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed lessons/daycare sessions due to weather conditions.
  • Lessons are subject to a 12% HST, Daycare sessions are HST exempt.
  • Prices and programs are subject to change without notice.
