Vernon, B.C. – Season two of the hit TV series Making the Cut - Last Man Standing, will begin filming in the Okanagan at
Silver Star Mountain Resort on Monday, July 24th, 2006. Silver Star has been selected as a premier location and will set the
stage for the off - ice segments of the series. The hockey portion of the television series will be staged at the local
ice-rink and home of the Vernon Vipers - the Vernon Multiplex.
Making the Cut 2: Last Man Standing features 39 drafted candidates who will compete in an intense hockey training camp
over a two week period. At the end of show there will be one player, essentially the ‘last man standing’, who will
receive an endorsement contract and the exposure to top professional hockey scouts and managers to showcase their skills.

Partial filming of Making the Cut 2: Last Man Standing will take place among the excitement and daily activities of
Silver Star Mountain Resort. Silver Star’s Victorian inspired village, brightly coloured store fronts, boarded sidewalks, and
downhill mountain bike park provide a unique ambiance and energy for filming this one of a kind Canadian television series.
