Silver Star Mountain Resort is no longer affiliated with Big White Ski Resort. As part of a corporate restructure, the two companies now run independently of each other. 

Effective June 1, 2012 Big White Ski Resort Limited and Silver Star Ski Resort Limited will no longer offer dual mountain season passes or joint lift ticket programs. All passes will be sold on individual resort bases.

Effective June 1, 2012 Silver Star Mountain Resort introduces "my1pass"; Canada’s first All-Inclusive Season Pass. In addition to unlimited skiing and snowboarding on more than 3065 acres of incredible terrain, all Silver Star alpine season passes now include FREE upgrades allowing unlimited access to:

• 55km of Nordic trails,
• 16km of marked snowshoe trails,
• Tube Town Adventure Park and;
• Ice skating on Brewer’s Pond.
