When the lifts close, there are loads of family events and activities for all ages, plus an array of restaurants and bars to choose from.

Dry champagne powder and stunning terrain

Explore 3,269 acres (1,323 hectares) of varied terrain serviced by 12 lifts. Skiers of all levels love the perfectly groomed runs and wide open spaces of Vance Creek. But, if you want to be challenged, jump on the high speed Powder Gulch Quad and access the double black diamonds and steep chutes on the back side.

ROCKSTAR Park is the most progressive terrain park in BC. It’s a winter playground for skiers of all levels with plenty of small and big jumps and a huge selection of features to master your tricks on.

Each night, our award winning grooming team delivers immaculately groomed runs. Nightly winch-cat grooming on the back side, creates steep fall line cruising that will leave you breathless.

Meticulously groomed trails and stunning views combined

Each year, early in November, 105 km of trails at Silver Star and Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre come alive with nordic enthusiasts from around the world. Our trails are guaranteed to keep even the most avid nordic skier occupied for the whole season.

Silver Star has been dubbed as the best early snow destination anywhere. With consistent early snow, meticulous grooming, excellent facilities, and ski in ski out accommodation, it’s no wonder the Canadian and USA National Cross Country and Biathlon Teams have selected Silver Star as their early season training centre.

We're for families

We have daily events and activities complete with special guest appearances from our famous Mascots. Our unique, kid friendly ski areas include runs like ‘peanut trail’, and our endless family activities include horse drawn sleigh rides, snow cat dinner tours, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and mini snowmobiles!

Our Adventure Centre is renowned for keeping your little ones happy with programs designed especially around their needs and ages – a guaranteed way to have them in your ear “Please just one more day mom”.

Rockstar Terrain Park is guaranteed to keep your teens testing their skills and learning as they go for days on end in a safe and progressive terrain park environment. From there it’s movie night or straight to the private hot tub in your condo, while you enjoy your pre-ordered and delivered grocery service complete with a well deserved glass of wine – Or perhaps our Guest Services team have arranged a babysitter and dinner reservations at the Silver Grill for some ‘mom and dad time’ - After all it’s tough keeping everyone happy… right?
