Norco presents the Burney Ridge Enduro at Silver Star Bike Park supported by Smith Optics. A 3 stage enduro race at the bike park with an emphasis on fun, prizing from Norco, Smith and Silver Star Bike Park. Course to be released Thursday before the race.
According to Ross Schnell, enduro races take many forms. Some are long Super-D races, like the Downieville Classic or the Megavalanche. Others, like France’s Trans-Provence, include multiple timed downhill stages that are held over a single day (Like the Burney Ridge Enduro), or over multiple days and are linked by non-timed climbs. “They’re basically pedally downhill races where fitness is just as important as technical skill,” Schnell says.
